Sgt. O'Day - NOBODY during that time period believed Prince Eddy was Jack the Ripper! That claim was only made by an author in the early 1960's and has been completely disproved. The prince wasn't even in London at the time of any of the murders.

Many people during that time period did believe Prince Eddy was Jack the ripper. But time over the years clouds every event.
